PAP error

First of all, we apologize for any inconvenience. Our developers are investigated the issue and found that one of the major Internet Service Providers are having network issues (sadly they're next to our CDN - Content Delivery Network). The issue will be solved very soon, but you may need to do a few extra steps as a workaround.

Please open a command prompt and type this command:

netsh int ip reset c resetlog.txt

It is a command in windows to reset the TCP/IP. TCP/IP stands for transmission control protocol/Internet Protocol , it is a type of protocol used to communicate with other computers. If TCP/IP is not functioning then you would not be able to browse, even tough if your computer is able to ping other IP addresses and still if you are not able to pull up any webpages then reset the TCP/IP by using the above command.

We suggest to perform a DNS cache clear to solve the issue, so please try the following:

Windows 8/10

  1. On your keyboard, press Win+X to open the WinX Menu.
  2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
  3. Run the following command: ipconfig /flushdns
  4. If the command succeeds, the system returns the following message: Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Windows 7

  1. Click Start.
  2. Enter cmd in the Start menu search text box.
  3. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
  4. Run the following command: ipconfig /flushdns
  5. If the command succeeds, the system returns the following message:Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

To attempt a repair you just need to do the following:

  1. Open your Black Desert Online Launcher.
  2. Click the cogwheel located on the top right corner of the Launcher window.
  3. Next to "Repair Mode", click the "Click to start" button, and select "Yes" to initiate a file repair.

Please note that, it may look like the launcher is (re)downloading a massive amount of data but it will actually only download damaged files after checking the whole installation.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
